I was born in the small town of Morrilton, Arkansas. I was raised between Finger Town (Austin) and Bee Branch. I spent my early school years at South Side Bee Branch and at Nemo Vista. I attended most of my high school years at Nemo Vista. I cannot go without saying that Mrs. Jean Anderson and Mrs. Max Anne Isom have played a major part in who I am and where I am today. They never gave up on me and always pushed me to do better in everything I did. Without them I would not have finished or passed high school. I will always be grateful for these two persistent women!

After I graduated, I had to continue with correspondent courses to get my diploma. I finally achieved this in 1996. I was approached by a school board member, and he asked if he could present me with my diploma and I told him yes. I was honored to have Mr. Roger Oates to present me my diploma at the next school board meeting. Thank you, Mr. Oates!

In the fall of 1998 while working at van Buren County memorial hospital, I applied to attend Petit Jean College and pursued a career in air conditioning and refrigeration. I worked full time and attended school from 98-01where I graduated with Honors and received a certificate in Air conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. I have Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Isom to thank for instilling in me to always do my best and I graduated with a 4.0 GPA.

I soon left my job at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital and hired on at St Vincient Doctors Hospital in the HVAC department. After six short months there, one of my mentors, Scott Schmidt seen something in me that would soon be the start of my Heating and Air Career. I hired on with American HVAC, owner Dean Bailey. My primary job duties included but not limited to commercial\Industrial heating and air, chillers, pumps and so on.

In 2004, a life changing event would soon change my family's life and alter my career at American. On May the 9th at approximately 8 am I woke to find my oldest daughter had passed away in her sleep. Brittany was 9 years old and only a month away from turning 10. Brittany was born 3 months premature and lived a good Christian life. She went through many surgeries, and it was deemed that she passed from natural causes due to premature birth. I continued in the heating and air field for a year and a half and finally realized I needed to take a break and attempt to cope with this loss. In December of 2006 I ended my heating and air career at American HVAC.

After taking off for six months I took my state license test and opened Superior Heating and Air on June 07, 2007. I started slow and worked on anything people called me on. In 2015 my oldest daughter Leanna created the logo that now represents our business. We have since acquired our contractor's license and have grown into a business I did not think was possible in the beginning. I have not always made the right decisions but have always learned from my mistakes. I continue to learn daily and would not be where I am without my wife Jennifer Pettry, Nick Bane and our crew of men and woman that make things possible every day.
